A Welsh construction company for all your building needs – from new builds to bathroom and kitchen renovations, extensions, loft and barn conversions.

Cartrefi’r Cwm takes its name from the village in which I was born and bred – Cwmsychbant, in the parish of Llanwenog, Ceredigion and near the town of Llanybydder and its famous horse market.

I established Cartrefi’r Cwm in 2006. The company’s building and home improvements portfolio is extensive, ranging from new house builds, flooring installations, house extensions, renovations and loft conversions.  Working throughout west Wales and beyond the team has developed a particular specialism in barn conversions.

Planning and building a new home can be stressful. I found this out the hard way: building my own house! As an experienced project manager I always bear that experience in mind. It’s always my aim to ensure that my clients’ journey is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, from start to finish.

From the roof slates to the flooring, Cartrefi’r Cwm’s attention to detail on all exterior and interior work is second-to-none.  The same care is given to barn conversions, renovations and extensions.

We can also provide secure fencing (to keep the neighbours’ dog out of the garden, for example) as well as commercial fencing and timber gates.
